This was Hannah's and my eighth 6K morning run, and since it was the last day of the year, and Gisi took off right before us to run a 10K, our family clocked one more half marathon together before the year's end. I counted up my kilometers this year and realized I ran 934 in total, the distance from Berlin to Paris.
Since Hannah and I both had the day off again, we ran in daylight. She was able to run a 6:10 pace, not bad for a training run and promising for a potential sub-one-hour 10K, something she wants to achieve in 2020, we'll see. Next week we'll be back in school and work, so it's be dark again, but at least the days are getting longer now.
