I packed some reading material in my running backpack and took the S-Bahn to the Hauptbahnhof, walked to my Tiergarten 5K loop starting line from there. I was able to finish with a 24:32, my fastest 5K since April, due mostly to the no warm-up run, cool weather, and less weight I would say, I lost 3 kilos in the last month on my 16-8 diet, not eating for 16 hours and eating for 8, very simple and effective, I hover around 78 kilos now instead of 81 and want to see how low I can go. Running is definitely more enjoyable the less extra weight you have to carry. After finishing, I started off on a steady run home via Innsbrucker Platz and Friedenauf, catching some nice views of the setting urban sun. Looking forward to the Prague 10K night run this weekend.
