13K New Year's Run 2013
Gisi and I joined 1300 others at the Brandenburg Gate for the 42nd annual Berlin New Year's Run which runs down Unter den Linden and makes a loop around the Berlin cathedral and back. This is a fun run with probably the highest concentration of high spirits, everyone cheering and doing the wave as we ran through the city. After finishing, Gisi and I got a warm tea and then took off south toward home for another 9K through a pretty trashed city waking up from the New Year's celebrations last night. A nice way to start the year!
