11K After-Work Run with Timed Tiergarten 5K (24:01)
Pursuing my no-breakfasts, eat-like-a-Greek diet plan and doing two runs per week instead of one for almost a month now, is starting to have its desired effect on my running times: last three 5K times 25:01, 24:31, and now 24:01, chopping a half-minute off each run to the motto of "weigh less, run faster", down to 76.4 kilos this morning. If I can keep taking 30 seconds off each run, I'll be back to my high-school, cross-country speed by the end of the year (!). Running form felt decidedly different last night, easier and more constant, with lungs and legs starting to work together instead of fighting each other. Let's go team, down into the 23's and beyond.
