28th Monthly 10K+ Race with Hannah: Pichelsberg to Schmargendorf via Grunewald
This was by far our most beautiful and landscape-varied run of our duo-Corona-era runs since March, starting in south-Spandau Pichelsberg, two kilometers along Heerstr., cutting into the wealthy Westend neighborhood south of the Olympic Stadium then onto Teufelsseechausee past Teufelsberg, down through the Schrebergartens into Grunewald, under the Autobahn, past the tennis stadium and onto a beautiful forest path along the Hundekehlensee onto Königsallee then up 48 stairs at 9K into the noble Grunewald-Berlin neighborhood down Griegstraße ending up right at the Aral on Clayallee for finish-area refreshments.

We're doing our weekly 5K sprint races together which are currently our timed runs, so Hannah took it easy today with a 01:11:05. It's a beautiful 10K trail, always turning and experiencing new views and landscapes, and finishing at a gas station with a Car2Go just far enough to consume your drink, hop in the car and drive home, very convenient.

That was number 28 in our streak of 10K+ monthly runs. Hopefully Corona is going to clear up a bit soon and we can start running official races again, but until then, we're staying creative in our solo runs to bridge the gap.
