Datapod for PHP - Version 0.02.00
"New-Base Developer Version"
This is the first public version since May which now has enough standard features to allow you to create simple, decent-looking, data-driven sites that you can get online quick, and easily update by editing a text file.

It has 11 layouts to choose from (most from Free CSS templates), allows you to create item types from text files which are immediately displayable with permalinks and AJAX search, both global and for each item type. Item icons are now created automatically and are simple to add (add a icon.png file into the right directory). The most functional feature is SmartNotes which allows you to display formatted text with linked images easily. The datatypes area is still rudimentary but has many formatting options for date/time, ISBN works well (see the "books" example when creating an item type), and stars is impressive and shows you the power of datatypes to come. This is still pretty much a "developer version" and requires you both to have basic PHP skills as well as to be comfortable with recording and editing data in Datapod format. The user item management (edit/add/copy/delete links on each item) is implemented but hidden since it currently only works with very simple items, will be debugged and made visible in a future version, but you can turn it on if you have very simple item types (e.g. so users can edit settings from the site interface). In all, if you know the basics of PHP and Datapod, this version allows you can go from idea to online data-driven site in less than an hour.
Latest Beta Version:
This version has many bug fixes since the November 2011 release, plus easy-to-create jQuery/AJAX actions, the ability to create PDF files, and the ability to create images with the ImageMagick library (see showcase).
